I want to bring my viewers into my art by using traditional subjects with a twist in technique, color, or execution.  I invite you to see the sometimes simple, sometimes complex approach to my art, and, in turn, appreciate the serendipitous results.  I paint and create intuitively.  I delight in the unexpected and happy accidents.  My inspiration is Nature's glorious displays and creations - always changing.  I look for the unusual.  I love color and contrast.  I love working with a variety of media because of the challenges and exciting results each one offers to my art. Sometimes I start a painting with an idea or subject, but often, I just lay down color as an underpainting and let it lead me where my intuition compels me to go.  This approach to my art is always exciting, challenging, and fulfilling.  It is my hope that others will see my excitement in the work I create and come away with a lingering awe-inspiring experience.
